1. What are the Hospital hours?

 Our hospital is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We have doctors and nursing staff in our hospital waiting to assist you during all hours of operation.

2. Do I need to have an appointment?

Because we are strictly an emergency/referral hospital all patients are triaged upon arrival and the most serious are treated  first. If possible please call prior to coming in, this will allow us to prepare for any special needs your pet may have upon arrival. 

3. What forms of payment do you accept?

     Cash, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Care Credit and Checks (with proper identification)

4. Can I make payments?

    No. All payments are required at time of service rendered.
5. Do you vaccinate pets, sell heartworm prevention, flea control products or pet food?
     
    No, we don not do any general practice or sell any heartworm prevention, pet foods or flea control products. Please contact your veterinarian to discuss these products.  
  
 6.  What is the pre-anesthetic blood screening?

   This is a blood test that is run here in the hospital  prior to surgery. It tests the organ functions, blood counts and clotting function of your pet. The pre-anesthetic blood screening is done to assure safety during surgery and the ability to heal following surgery.

7. How long do the sutures stay in after my pet's surgery?

   Procedures involving sutures require them to be removed in 12-14 days. Please schedule suture removal with your veterinarian.

8.  Do you board pets?

   No. As an emergency referral hospital we do not do any form of boarding and reserve all of our facility for hospitalized patients requiring ongoing medical attention.
