Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

The VERC is now accepting applications for emergency/ critical care veterinarians. Applicants must be  highly motivated and willing to take on professional challenges. Previous experience in emergency and critical care is preferred but applicants showing exceptional skills and desire to expand their knowledge base are encouraged to apply.The VERC is operated by Dr. Bordelon who is a Diplomate of the American College of  Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. We have been serving Escambia, Santa Rosa and Baldwin counties for over 20 years and our practice is limited to emergency and referrals only. We are currently building a new facility to meet the growing demands of our veterinary community. Emergency/critical care doctors are scheduled an average of 3 shifts per week and have ample opportunity to enjoy the benefits of living on Florida's Emerald Coast.  We are located in Pensacola which offers a multitude of  activities and big city amenities with a small town atmosphere.
